Have We Done The Work Of Prayer?

Have We Done The Work Of Prayer?

Kerry Spaedy

What precisely is our work to be as Christians? We need to keep the commandments. We need to carry our cross every day. We need to pardon each other, and to sacrifice in order to help others. The rundown of “marching orders” as stated in the Scriptures is undoubtedly difficult. So we need to simply think on the concept of patience.

It is exceptionally difficult to show restraint in troublesome occasions, particularly when we are confronting resistance or demoralization. Yet, consider the possibility that something brilliant can happen to you? For instance, what if you won the lottery, or just became engaged or had a new baby? In those happy times, having patience would be simple for you.

By the same token, faith makes it simple for us to do troublesome jobs. Faith permits us to be in a consistent state of being somebody who has received something magnificent. We should then review: As Christians, we have a difficult job. So we need to put on on solid set of work gloves to make the "work" of being a Christian easier. Then we will consistently prevail at our Christian work.
